Description

The Casita sits on 2 acres with a seasonal pond (empty usually January-March). Enjoy the seclusion of this rural, tranquil park-like setting of the property. The neighbors to the north have cattle and horses. You can enjoy watching graze on the fertile land of the Verde valley or enjoy bird watching with binoculars provided at the casita. We get regular visits from eagles and hawks in the big cottonwood trees.

*Nearest Grocery store is Fry's which is 5 miles away in Cottonwood / Dollar Tree in Cornville about a mile
*Close wineries - Page Spring Cellars, DA Ranch, Oak Creek Vineyard, Javelina Leap Vineyard

Access

You will have access to the whole house and half the pond on the north side of the fence.

Space

The casita has plenty of space for 2-4 guests.
*Bedroom - Has king log bed with comfy linens
*Bathroom is in master bedroom
*Sedona is a 15 minute drive
*Jerome is a 20 minute drive
*Old town Cottonwood is 10 minute drive
Casita includes all linens, dishware, cookware, 12 cup coffee maker, and Keurig. You will enjoy High Speed internet and Dish Network TV and you can also enjoy the smart TV by logging into your own Netflix, etc account. Of course you may enjoy the serenity outside more after visiting the wineries and drinking some of your daily wine finds. Yard amenities include Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view of the on-site pond and ranching neighbors and cattle next to us.
*Note - We do not provide shampoo/conditioner or body soap. We recommend bringing your own.

**Note - Pet fee is $125 for 1st pet and $75 for 2nd pet. Two maximum. (Pets need owners approval prior to booking. Please inquire before booking)

Transit

A car is required. Sedona is a quick 15 minute drive and Cottonwood is about 10 minutes.

Cleaning fee includes up to 2 guests. $10/guest per day above 2. No more than 4 guests allowed. Pet fee is $125 for 1st pet and $75 for 2nd pet. Pets need prior approval by owner. Max allowed is two pets.

Peaceful Retreat
Great location for a relaxing break. It’s quiet, peaceful and lots of space to roam around. The house is well stocked and looks just like the photos. We went up with our two boys, age 7 and 8, and they had a blast. We played soccer, threw the football around and they climbed the big trees. The property is near Paige Springs wineries and 10 minutes from Cottonwood. Something for everyone.

I stayed here while doing a 3 day mountain bike trip in Sedona. I was able to reach trails in West Sedona in about 20 minutes through Page Springs road and Village of Oak Creek trails through Beaverhead Flats road in the same amount of time. This was a huge plus for me as I was able to avoid driving through the busier part of Sedona during busier weekend traffic times. An added plus was the close proximity to the wine tasting rooms off Page Springs. I was able to frequent them after long days on the trails. The casita is also about 10 minutes from Cottonwood where I went to stock up on groceries. I usually stay in Sedona resulting in a higher expense over all. Not only was it more cost effective for me to stay here, but it was more relaxing and enjoyable to leave the more touristy hustle and bustle to a quiet retreat where I was able to kick my feet up and see the stars at night. Lastly, I stayed in mid November. This resulted in some killer fall colors and perfect hiking/biking weather. Oak Creek and it’s tree line is visible from the property....such a great location!
